Legacy

October 2, 2010 was a very special day. Jones was dedicated at Port City Community Church through an event called Legacy. We were able to invite 10 people to come and discuss important questions that will help Chris and I create a strong foundation for Jones and to raise him in a Christian home. Our parents, Sarah Anne and Justin, and Mama and Papa joined us on Saturday morning and then around 30 people stoped by to celebrate over lunch at our house. It was very special day for us and we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!

Jones first trip to Missouri was jammed packed with meeting lots of new friends and doing lots of fun things. Jones met his Great Grandma Schlimpert on Thursday, met his new friend Tucker and hung with the girls on Friday, tailgated at the Mizzou game on Saturday, and then hung with the fam all day on Sunday. He was absolutely perfect on the plane - people were actually commenting on what a well behaved child we have. Let's see if people say that as he gets older :) We will be back in Missouri over Thanksgiving - missing friends and family already!

Rolling Over

Labor Day weekend was a big weekend for Jones! He not only laughed and giggled at us ALL weekend, he really started grabbing toys, and best of all he rolled over 4 times! We can't believe Jones is already 3 months old - he changes every single day - but he gets sweeter and more fun every day!
