Wilmington Baby Shower

What a wonderful day ... perfect weather, the yummiest food, adorable decorations, and most of all some of the sweetest friends someone could ask for. Three of my High School friends even drove from Missouri to be here with me at this shower which made it even more special. Logan and Kim went above and beyond to make this shower special for me and their mission was accomplished. Thank you to everyone to helped make this day so special!

I got my "BOB STROLLER" ... I was so suprised and so excited! This literally brought tears to my eyes. I will think of all of you every time I push Jones in his stroller!

Shower in a Box

A very creative twist to a baby shower..."A Shower in a Box." The Poplar Bluff ladies were not to be excluded because of distance. My Mom's friends were so sweet to remember me even though I'm 18 hours away. A package arrived and when we opened it, it was filled with napkins, mints, party peanuts, chocolates, confetti, and lots of adorable presents. Sandie, Diane, Sally, Debby, and Lisa - thank you so much for making us feel so loved.

Raleigh Baby Shower

What a wonderful weekend! The hosts went above and beyond to make this day special for Jones and I...the decorations were precious, food was delicious, and we got more gifts then we know what to do with. It was so wonderful to be with so many family and friends - Chris and I truely are blessed to have such a wonderful support system and I can tell you ... little Jones is going to be one spoiled little boy. Thank you so much to everyone who came to the shower and for the wonderful presents that you gave us. We are getting closer and closer to getting ready for his arrival. Start of the nursery

The nursery is coming along. The walls are painted thanks to Grandpa Stainback and the hardwood floors are done thanks to Daddy Stainback. The crib and dresser are all put together and it all looks precious. The bedding is in and I even got my first mongogram blanket from my sweet friends - Karson and Jillian. We still have alot of work to do as far as the wall decor but we still have a few more months to work. Here are a few pictures of the start of the nursery...

The start of blogging...

Well, I swore I would never do it but here I am blogging away. We hope that this blog will help our friends and family experience this next chapter of our lives with us a little easier. Things have been great so far...we are currently 28 weeks pregnant and Jones is "actively" growing every day. We are now in our third trimester which means he will be making his arrival in less than three months. We have been working hard on getting the house ready as well as the nursery. We start our child birthing classes tomorrow - they are every monday night for the next month. We go back to the doctor on March 12th so we will have more updates as it gets closer to time. We look forward to keeping in touch and letting you watch Jones grow up with us. Please keep all of us in your prayers as we will be needing it as we start this new adventure with our precious baby boy.
